Associated Printers endeavours to achieve reduction in waste produced - this is achieved by increasing the volume of our recycled matter which ultimately means less waste going to landfill. We also recommend the use of paper products that contain recycled materials and paper produced from sustainable forests where ever possible.
We use soy based inks and our printing process is alcohol free We have presses that use water based aqueous coating – an environmentally friendly alternative to UV coatings. Our state of the art equipment results in more efficient printing.
We recycle paper, cardboard, plastic, film, wooden pallets, printing blankets, ink canisters, printing plates and office materials.
Our pre-press department uses Computer to Plate technology which has eliminated the need for film and reduces chemical processing. Soft proofing via our FTP file transfer service means we use less paper for hard copy proofing.
