As a side benefit of maintaining a quality prepress facility we end up with a quality art department, which in turn allows us to offer our clients design and finished art services more than capable of meeting exacting expectations at more than competitive rates.
We run a full time art studio offering clients design and finished art services should they need it. Our studio is capable of handling files in both Mac and windows platforms and accepts all the major publishing formats.
Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign are our preferred designed formats but can also handle Quark Express files. Like most print production now days Adobe Acrobat PDF files are used for final file output.
For regular clients Associated Printers offer an Interactive Online Stationary Library allowing clients to modify their own customized artwork and place orders directly.
Our art studio is also responsible for our prepress work. Checking your files for colour, correct resolution and font issues using professional prepress software such as Enfocus Pitstop, Flightchec and Print Ready Cockpit to ensure your job is of the highest standard
We also give it the human once over, doing our best to pick up any small mistakes that may have slipped through your proof reading – it’s surprising what a set a fresh eyes can find.
Once everything has been checked and double checked the job is then imposed to suit you print requirements and a final proof is supplied to you for approval before printing commences.
Your approved digital files are proofed on our digital proofing system and then once they are approved printing plates are digitally produced ready for the presses. The whole system is digital ensuring accuracy throughout with no loss of quality, and it’s all handled in house for speed and workflow planning.
